He goes to Ranceburg South Highschool as a senior and takes post-secondary classes as well of out-of-school training for sound engineering. Jason was also the guitarist for path0gen at one point, which is Ezme's band, and occasionally fills in on drums. Ezme and Jason have been acquainted since elementary school but weren't friends until middle school. He's known Moe the same amount of time because their mothers were friends, but until they were older, they hated eachother. Jason does sound tech as an intern at Club 39 where Ezme and Moe's band (path0gen) normally preforms. His dream is to be a music producer and sound engineer, and of course promised the girls that he would produce an album for them one day.
Apart from being friends with the girls, his circle reaches beyond theirs, ranging into his older sister's friends and friends from different schools that he met when his father had joint custody of him. He's probably the most outwardly social of the group. He also has a slight disliking for Luna, Ezme's ex-girlfriend. They used to be friends, but after she tried to get with him behind Ezme's back, he became skeptical of her. When he told Ezme about it, he was surprised that she didn't really care, but said it was thoughtful of him to tell her.
Jason has an older sister who's in college, and a younger brother that lives with his father, while he lives with his mother. His parents divorced when he was 12 because they both had found someone else. he plans to move out to the same complex as Ezme and Moe in the summer when they move out, so they all don't have to separate. He wants to have roommates, but his male friends are skeptical about living with him because of how he is with girls...and how he deals with his feelings about them, referring to him as a "faggot." Little is known to whether or not Jason is hurt by that.
Jason has been known to date girls that his friends (both guys and girls) did not approve of, which usually causes problems between them. Usually, these are the kind of girls that will cheat on him and eventually feel his friend's wrath, leaving him to mope in some corner which they always have to drag him out of.
