Morgan, or "Moe" as most call her, is what should be a senior at Ranceburg North high school, but is now once again a junior and now commutes back and forth between the North and South schools. Moe's best friend is Ezme Ortiz, who she met at a Project 86 concert the summer before thier freshman year. after the concert, they exchanged phone numbers, but both lost them. soon after, they found eachother on MyXone about a week before school, yet never messaged. then coincidentally ended up in a class together on the first day of 9th grade, not knowing they were going to the same school. Moe asked if Ezme wanted to hang out after school (which of course she said "yes") and they decided it was fate after they showed up at the front gate, both with skateboards and boxes of apple juice. after that day, they were inseparable...until junior year, when Ezme's history teacher misinterprated her private journal entry (which she shouldn't have seen) as Ezme plotting her murder, and got expelled. Morgan, who was completely appauled by this, fought with administration alongside Esmeralda for months before Ezme's expulsion to show them the truth of what happened, but of course they didn't listen to either of them. after Ezme got expelled, Moe attempted to switch to Ezme's new school for the next year, but wasn't successful due to district boundaries. After her attempt was a bust, she purposely failed 2 of her easiest classes so that they could still be in the same grade the next year and graduate together, because that was "how it should be."
the next year, there was an opportunity for North students to commute to the South school for certain classes that were no longer available there (and vice versa), and of course she got right to signing up. Morgan's own problems in school (mainly with speaking against teachers and skipping classes) nearly ruined her chances at being able to take the opportunity, but she convinced her counselors that it would be better for her since the teachers she bickers with are in the same placement as the classes she'd be taking at the South school, which would keep her out of trouble. Ezme and Moe were completely happy as they could be to be going to school together again, although Moe does butt heads often with Ezme's school friend Miranda, who she doesn't like for being "fake" and "obsessive." she also has a slight disliking for Luna, who used to be Ezme's off-and-on girlfriend.
Moe is also a member of Ezme's band path0gen, who she likes to say that they started together, partially because they are the only members of the band that are constant. Morgan is on rhythm guitar and does most of the offline advertising for the band and thier concerts.Moe and Ezme frequently livestream thier band rehearsals and jam sessions on XoneTV, and often livestreams on her own as well. Moe is slightly more popular online than Ezme is for the main fact that she is more social and talks to/messages/livechats with more people as well as randoms, while Ezme normally is more interested in designing sites and posting longer public entries and mainly chats online with people she known for a while.
after Ezme got expelled, with lack of anything better to do, they decided to get jobs to save up money for when they get an apartment together after they turned 18, Moe turning 18 about a month after Ezme. besides doing odd jobs like cleaning, mowing lawns or painting fences, Morgan's uncle Rob gave them weekend jobs at his hot dog stand in Uptown Ranceburg where they take turns doing 4 hour shifts throughout the day, so that he could open another stand up the street. they advertise the stand at thier concerts as well as occasionally bringing one of the stands to events and parties to make extra money.
Morgan lives in a condo with her mother and two sisters, one older and one younger. her younger sister goes back and forth week to week between thier mom and her father, and her sister only comes back home when she needs money. Moe's mother, Linda, is an extreme femenist and is very outspoken. Morgan and Linda constantly argue because Moe doesn't agree with many of her mom's views. although she has met both of her sister's fathers, she has never met her own and doesn't know anything about him. because of this, she feels uncomfortable when she's in situations where there are many 35 to 50 year old men, because "he could be anyone of them," and she wouldn't know, but wants to.
